Reading through Judges… and listening through Genesis… I’m struck by God’s great grace… and our great failure to be faithful…
Over and over… we fail to be faithful…
Adam and Eve to the one rule…
The twelve tribes to the law of promise…
Judges to prophets… kings to priests…
We all fail…
Yet in the failures… He takes what He’s left with… and uses it for good…
From fall after fall… He brings to the world a Way to make all things new…
It makes me so grateful for His grace…
So thankful for His steadfast love…
Not just for the whole… but… for… me…
The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.
