I told them at the shop… when the sign came in… I need this sign as a constant reminder…
My behavior of late… has been less than loving…
But what I’ve discovered over the last two… three days… is a reason to love…
Something when recognized… makes it easier to love…
His grace…
I’ve seen it reflected in those who have no reason to bless me with grace…
the customer whose bag I ruined…
the customer service guy on the west coast… who graced me by waiving the shipping fee when I needed to add one item to an online order I placed an hour earlier… (because I ruined a shirt…)
the two ladies who came for sewing lessons… but the lessons had been canceled and they weren’t contacted…
His grace all wound up in the ruining above… which kept me late so I could explain to the ladies who came to sew…
His unmerited favor falls on us each day… because He loves us… every single person He ever created… He loves and so He blesses with grace…
When we begin to see His grace falling on us… receive His grace through His Son… it tenders a heart to move to do… everything in love…
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
