full hands…

Yesterday… in the reading through of His Word for the study with sisters… I read…

“You shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and bind caps on them, and they shall have the priesthood by a perpetual statute. So you shall ordain Aaron and his sons. …”

Exodus 29:9 NASB

In a note attached to the word ordain… it says… Lit fill the hand of… (New American Standard Bible: 1995 update)

The priests anointed… consecrated… to serve the Lord in His tabernacle… literally had their hands full…

All Believers are priests in the new covenant…

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

1Peter 2:9 ESV

And I think about all He’s filled my hands with… as one of His priests…

Prayer ministry… teaching ministry… blogging… serving…

Proclaiming His excellencies is a full time job… our hands are to be always filled with the work of glorifying Him in everything we do…

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3:17 ESV

His priests… at the point of ordination in the spiritual realm… have their hands filled… with works He predestined them to do in His name…

And I wonder… What has He filled your hands with…? Do you have… full hands…?
