making ALL things new…

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come.

2Corinthians 5:17 ESV

His making ALL things new… includes ALL things…

Imagine that…

If you are in Him… there is something new in you… something new He wants to bring out of you… to reveal His glory to you… which in turn reveals it to the world in which you live…

new… adjective… 1: having recently come into existence: recent, modern 2 a (1): having been seen, used, or known for a short time: novel… (2): unfamiliar… b: being other than the former or old… 3: having been in relationship or condition but a short time… 4 a: beginning as the resumption or repetition of a previous act or thing… b: made or become fresh…

–Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (11th Ed.)

One aspect of the new He’s made in me… as I’ve journeyed with Him… is writer… author

With it comes the Ugh! of marketing… and yet another unexpected new…

A new medium through which to share what’s written… Medium.com… a new place to introduce myself… and hopefully His glory…

In the introduction to Medium.com… I find myself again wrestling with the question of the new in me… who am i…? what does it mean to be His medium… His vessel… for His glory…?

In the wrestling… part of who I am comes clear… a creator of devotionals

One new thing seems to lead to another…

He’s making something new here… at this table… something I didn’t quite expect… in the recent quiet on this blog… a journey I thought just might be coming to an end…

But with discovery of Medium.com… the inspiration comes to create another devotional… a 365-day one year devotional… gleaned from past posts here…

The hope… the vision… is to begin choosing… editing… re-newing… former posts… for a new medium… a new audience….

We’ll see what He does… but one thing I am sure of… you’ll see a lot fewer ellipses… : )

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Isaiah 64:8 ESV

What new is He making in you…?

Are you resistant to the work of His hands…?

Consider why or why not…

Thank Him for making ALL things new…
