new beginning…

In the beginning, God created…

Genesis 1:1

Each of us has a beginning…

Both as a whole… and as individuals…

Already within us… in the beginning… is a story… fully written before the Creator… from start to finish…

Nothing surprises Him…

All that catches us off guard… turns our worlds upside-down… sends our souls reeling… He already knows…

Our story is written in such a way… that we might find Him…

And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. 

Acts 17:26-27 ESV

For He’s the Sure Foundation on which we can stand… build our lives… as we walk out the story written for us…

He knew when He wrote… we would all need… a New Beginning…

So He made sure there was one for us… when we realize our story is leading no… where… good…

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:1-5 ESV

The Word… God made flesh… poured Himself out so He could fit in a human embryo… and took on the name… Jesus…

He did this because He knows our story…

He knows we each need a new beginning… because our first beginning… leads to darkness and death…

Our new beginning… starts with The Word… Jesus…

In Him is the Light of Life… who rewrites our darkness and makes it light…

He turns the road that leads to death… into a path of Life…

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 16:11 ESV

Have you found your new beginning…? have you recognized your need for one…?

He’s there… waiting… watching… working… for you to reach out… for your New Beginning…

And he who is seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Revelation 21:5 ESV
