Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Psalm 96:1 ESV
His Word commands us to sing to Him… but not just any old song…
We are called to sing a new song to the Lord… a fresh song of praise… and glory…
Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
Psalm 96:2-3 ESV
And I’ve wondered… How many new songs could we possibly sing…? Won’t we at some point…? have nothing fresh to say…?
As we praised Him this past Sunday in worship… it suddenly dawned…
In His Infinite Nature… we can be filled with new songs of praise daily… and forever…!
Every moment of our life… and the continual moment of eternity… offers us the opportunity to open our hearts and minds to His unending love… see new and wonderful things about our God as we fall deeper and deeper in love with Him…!
Oh… What a wonder…!
Lord… increase our capacity to praise Your name…!
For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Psalm 96:4-6 ESV
Have you ever thought you’ve known all there was to know about God…? Do you have no fresh song to sing…?
Well think again…!
Open your heart to the wonder of His infinite love… nature… grace… beauty… majesty… and glory…
Ask Him to fill you with a fresh song of praise…
…to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge…

It’s all a part of falling in love with the One who is Love…!
