Walk worthy…
You have been called out of the world… and into God’s own Kingdom… into His glory…
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from this world.”
John 18:36 ESV
His Kingdom rules… ways… include loving your enemies… not fighting them…
It includes dying to self… in order to save others… even your enemies…
The world fights to save itself… with no regard for others…
Whose kingdom rules are you living by…? the world’s…? or His…?
Who do you find yourself fighting…? for what are you fighting…?
The world fights for it’s own way…
Those who follow Jesus… live by His Kingdom rules… fight their own flesh… to love others sacrificially… just like He does…
He calls us out of darkness… self-centeredness… and into Light… other-centeredness… with Him leading the way… defining what love looks like…
Walk as children of light… not darkness…
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
