The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

I’m currently wrestling with some wants…
Feeling like I have needs going unmet…
Not physical… but spiritual… emotional…
But He says… if He is my Shepherd… I shall not want for anything…
Thus the wrestling… spirit vs flesh…
What I perceive as need… He says it’s not…
He says… He has supplied… exactly what I need… to do all He’s calling me to do… in the way He’s calling me to do it…
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
2Corinthians 9:8 ESV
To understand we are not lacking anything… have no wants… despite how we feel… is a belief issue… an act of faith…
There is nothing to do… but be still… know He is… and trust all my needs are taken care of… as long as I put Him first…
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
Matthew 6:33 NLT
Perhaps the feeling of need crops up… when I put “self”… above Him…? believe… I need… something He says I don’t…?
Thus the faith… being sure of what I hope for… certain of what I do not see…
Seeing in my flesh… wants unmet… vs trusting… He has blessed me… with ALL I need…
Father God… trusting You as the Good Shepherd… I still my soul… quiet my spirit… when it comes to the wants I feel… and choose to believe… You have provided all I need… Amen…
Feeling some wants today…?
Check to see who you are putting first…
Repent if necessary…
Trust Him… to supply exactly what you truly need…
