At the Summit… he talked about rejection… and the fear it stirs…
In his personal study of rejection… to overcome his own fear… he embarked on a quest to experience 100 days of rejection…
On his journey… he made some discoveries…
One of the most profound things he learned… (which really spoke to me)… rejection is an opinion… it says more about the one who rejects than the one being rejected…
Our own self-centeredness… makes rejection so pain-full… and leads to the fear…
As I reflected on his words… it came to me…
If the Creator of the universe has already accepted us… said Yes… to us… then we’ve already received the approval of the one who counts most…
In His opinion… we are worth dying for…
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 NIV
In His… Yes… fear of rejection from man… loses its power…
To know His love… through His Son… is to receive all the affirmation we need…
Remember who is on your side… as He calls you out… to be light in the dark…
The Good News is… there is nothing to fear…
The Lord is in my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
