The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
1Corinthians 2:14 ESV
Talking about faith… to the spiritually dead… is like trying to talk to a blind person about color…
They… just… can’t… see…
It makes no sense…
So I ask Him what to do… How do I deal with these… Lord…? these I love… who are blind… deaf… to You…? How…?
I ask Him… What do You do…?
And He says… Wait…
The story of the father with the two lost sons comes to mind…
The younger of his sons demanded his inheritance before his father was dead…
Essentially he said… I wish you were dead… so I could have what was coming to me…
And the loving father did as he asked… divided his property… wealth… belongings… between the sons…
When the younger one liquidated his share… he left home… walked away from the father… just as if he was dead…
Then the father… began his wait…
Watching… waiting… for his son’s return… We know this because when the son did return… while he was still a long way off… his father saw him and felt compassion… and ran… and embraced… and kissed him…
The father received the returning son… without rebuke… he received him with joy…!
With this story in mind… I asked Jesus… Do you pursue…? those who turn from you…?
I heard Him say… what I didn’t want to hear… so I wonder if it’s true…
He said… No… I orchestrate…
Then the wealthy man comes to mind… the one Jesus loves… the one whom He instructed to sell all he had… give to the poor… and follow Him… but who walked away… sad… because he was rich…
We don’t know if he returned… but what we do know… Jesus let Him walk… in His love… He let him go…
The one whose return we do know… the bratty young self-centered son… didn’t come until his way led to serving pigs… pigs who ate better than he…
God… Father… Son… Spirit… orchestrates the world in a way where those who are His come to a point of decision… no return… or return to Him…
There are no other choices… only one way or the other… Jesus tells us so…
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 ESV
So I’m left with waiting… while He orchestrates… the events of the lives of those I love… who are blind to the spiritual reality hovering all around…
And I wonder how to wait… especially when I find myself impatient…
The father of the son waited with expectation… always watching…
A stance I need to take… along with praise…
Silent praise… silent watching… not sharing what I see in the spiritual… with those who cannot yet see…
Ugh… transformation still needs to take place in my heart… because the impatience reveals a lack of trust… a lack of belief… in His orchestration… His conducting… His timing… of the lives of loved ones who have wandered or remain blind…

There is a work He’s doing in me too…
Perhaps if I hurry up and change… He will hurry up too…?
But no… that is just me thinking I have control… over anything…
Waiting… while He orchestrates… this is what I must learn… hope-fully…
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.
Psalm 62:5-8 ESV
Read the story of the father who waited… Luke 15:11-32… and about the one who He let walk… Mark 10:17-22… see what He says to you about waiting… while He orchestrates…
[…] Keeping my spiritual insights… revelations… understanding… under wraps…quietly waiting… while He orchestrates… […]

I loved reading Jeremiah’s Menu the past few days. Being patient while HE orchestrates it all….everything. It’s so , so hard for us but always worth the wait.
Many hugs❤️
