Jesus prepared the way… made the way… is the Way… for us to have peace with God the Father…
Mark’s description of Jesus’s baptism… gives us a picture of what happens at every Believer’s baptism in the spiritual realm…
Being immersed… in the name… authority… of Father… Son… Spirit… upon rising out of the water… immediately the heavens are torn asunder… just as the veil in the temple was torn at His death…
The heavens open to us… no longer separated from our heavenly Father by sin… the Holy Spirit descends into our hearts… and the Father says to every Believer baptized…
“You are my beloved son… with you I am well pleased.”
If you are a Believer… remember your baptism today…
Hear Him speak over you… You are my beloved… with you I am well pleased…
Rest in this truth… accept your identity by faith in Christ…
If you do not believe… consider the lack of peace in your life… could it be caused by a rift between you and your heavenly Father…?
Consider what might be different in your life… if you had peace with Him…
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
