Blind spots…
We all have them…
Places in our lives we think we know… but don’t…
God is the only One… without a single blind spot…
He… all Light… all Knowing… ever Present… sees all… perfectly…
Prayer is the act of embracing our blindness to things we don’t know…
Who He is…
Who we are…
How to live…
What to do…
When…
Where…
We make assumptions… we trust what others say… we see only what we see… rely on our own judgment…
But we are blind… all of us… to something…
Bring your blind spots to Him… even… and especially… if you don’t think you have any…
He promises great things… to those who know… they can’t see…
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
