I saw it… and I knew I should… but I didn’t…
I passed right on by…
I waited for conviction to do its work… but it didn’t come…
Still… I knew I should… so I turned around…
I repented…
I went about the business of doing what I knew was right… without the Spirit’s conviction…
And I wondered… Is this a sign of growth…? Is this a test…?
To be faced with an opportunity to do what you know is right… and do it without conviction… is just a place we come to in our relationship with Him…
Knowing what’s right… and simply doing it…
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 4:17 ESV
Once we know… then we just do it… with or without… the nudge of conviction…
