It started as a reminder… a symbol of who we are and His presence with us…
But it has become something which distracts… something to mess with during class…
The lighting of candles… the stating our identity in Christ… has lost its significance…
Less than half still flaming… shining… by the time we closed in prayer…
When an act of faith… loses its meaning… it’s time to leave it behind…
By the time it becomes a “tradition”… it’s probably past its prime…
Are there traditions of faith in your life…? which are just that…? traditions past their prime…?
Maybe it’s time to put them away… or somehow… refresh… restore… revive… their meaning…
