The new Nativity set from the sister… tucked back in its bucket… the mantle dismantled… the stockings packed up…
Wreaths hung back in closets… ornaments in boxes… and the tree standing up now in a bedroom closet…
All put away…
But like Mary… I’m not putting away the spirit of Christmas… that I plan to treasure… think about often…
The Savior coming to save… making Himself vulnerable…
Identifying with us in life… and… death…
His resurrection the reason He came…
His return is what we wait for…
Advent all year…
Treasure it in your heart…
Think about it often…
