No place for them… nowhere for Jesus to be birthed… except in a barn… a feed trough for a crib…
A humble beginning for the Creator of the universe… the King of kings… Lord of lords…
Mary and Joseph made room in their lives for His arrival…
She said… Let it be… giving up her ideals and dreams of what it meant to marry Joseph… begin a family with him…
He set aside his own definition of what was right… set aside his desire to break the engagement… and obeyed the angel of the Lord… Take Mary as your wife…
In a city too full for them to find a room… they found shelter in a barn… made a place to lay Him… in a trough…
Mary and Joseph… the first two on earth to make room in their lives for Jesus to enter…
A lesson to learn in making room for Him…
Laying down our expectations… our own understanding… and trusting the Father instead of yourself…
