“Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. …”
All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.'”
When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife.

Fear is one of the primary forces which keeps us from living by faith… doing God’s will…
It is in this passage we see Joseph overcome fear…
By faith… awaking to the truth… God is with us…
This Advent season… the season in which we wait for the King’s return… awake…!
Awake to God with you…
Awake to a life without fear…
Awake to a life of faith…
