completion…

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion…

Philippians 1:6 ESV

I can’t say I was always sure… of the completion which came to fruition today…

Two years of work on a study of faith… (actually more than ten if you consider how it began…)

Two years of Bible study… coming forth from ten words… faith actions… envisioned as a t-shirt for youth…

But He had a different plan…

A plan which drug me way outside my comfort zone…

In ways I never expected… He took me on a journey… one glimpse at a time… one small step at a time… some steps taken kicking and screaming… from a spiritual perspective…

But oh my… what I’ve learned about faith… hope… and His faithfulness to complete what He’s begun… even when you don’t know what He’s begun in you…

He has a way of leading… which moves you to far greater things… than you ever intended…

And tonight… I find myself resting… in the completion of a call I didn’t see coming… His faithfulness which I see and appreciate in a new light… and wonder… at all He is at work doing… despite my lack of vision…

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

Psalm 139:6 ESV
