remiss… vs… free…

With a busy week… and illness set on top of that… I feel as if I’ve been remiss… in coming to this place to write…

remiss… adjective… 1: negligent in the performance of work or duty: careless 2: showing neglect or inattention: lax

–Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary 11th Ed.

Then I remind myself… He set me free… from the six day a week discipline…

free… adjective… enjoying personal freedom: not subject to the control or domination of another…

–Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary 11th Ed.

So there is no room for the enemy to get a foothold… or even make one peep of condemnation…

Thank-full this week of thanks for Christ setting us free from the law of sin and death… and making the Way… for us to be born into His Kingdom… as one of the Father’s sons…

What a great and glorious God… in whose grace we will never find ourselves remiss… but only free…

“…So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. …”

John 8:36 ESV

Give thanks for what He has… and is… freeing you from… Amen…
