listening… it’s more than just hearing…
To listen includes a response of obedience…
The verse says it all… Speak… Your servant… is listening…
Servants not only hear their Lord… but they do what He says…
A response of joyful obedience… when He speaks…
And I consider who He speaks to… and decide it’s the one with the servant’s heart…
If you aren’t wanting to hear… with a desire to serve… follow… then I’m just not sure He’ll take the time to speak… or maybe it’s that you just won’t hear…
Even the Word laid out full… is eerily quiet… misunderstood… to the one whose heart isn’t listening…
