The grief of knowledge… stirs holy discontent…
Holy discontent… wrestles with impatience… and wondering where I failed… been a part of tearing things down…
He graciously reminds… in Praise and Prayer… My Church is still under construction…
“And I tell you… I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. …”
Matthew 16:18 ESV
He is building…
He is in the process of making all things new…
And what He has begun… He will complete…
Not even the gates of hell… can put a stop to it…
I’m reminded… where the enemy looks like he’s gaining ground… it’s God’s intended good… which will prevail…
I hear Him speak assurance… hope… to a heart stirred… with holy discontent…
“For thus says the Lord: When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. …”
Jeremiah 29:10-11 ESV
Here is where I hang my hope…
In Jesus… the Yes to every one of His promises…
Trusting Him… with my… holy… discontent…
