Too much… He is just too much…
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
Romans 8:31 NASB
The word “for” in the Greek… is the English transliterated prefix… hyper…
Yes… as in hyperactive…
hyper-… excessively… excessive… (Merriam-Webster’s)
The “these things” in the passages before… reveal His excessive work on our behalf…
- He works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose… (Romans 8:28)
- He knew us… predestined us… way before creation… perhaps we are the reason He created… (Romans 8:29)
- He has purposed those predestined… foreknown… to be conformed into the likeness of His Son… (Romans 8:29)
Once you are His… He works all things… past… present… future… for your good and His glory…
All the forces of the universe… not against us… but for us… in His sovereignty…
Everything that happens… is filled with purpose… not random chance…
He is hyper-for us…
Going to extreme measures… for us to see Him… know Him… be redeemed… restored… renewed…
Hyper… for… us…
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
Romans 8:31 NASB
Knowledge… too wonder-full… more than we can grasp…
[…] This morning I find myself overwhelmed by His too much… […]
