I reminded a loved one yesterday…
“Ask, and it will be given to you…”

Do we need any better reason to pray…?
Now I’m not endorsing prosperity gospel here…
Not saying that whatever we want… we get… just by asking God for it…
This Word is for Believers… who seek His rule first…
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 6:33 ESV
It is for those who ask… trusting Him to know their hearts better than they know themselves…
Those who trust Him to have their best at heart… deliver what’s best for them…
This is trusting asking… for right things in His name…
Asking with desire to obey… no matter the answer He gives…
Ask and you will receive… what is best for you…
A No… a Wait… a Yes…
Guidance… direction… an anchor to hold onto in the waiting…
Yesterday… I asked for some things… practicing what I preach…
And this morning He gives an answer…
An answer which inspires… to follow His way… the way He has purposed for me…
But the best thing about asking…?
Is hearing from Him…
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
