I’d never seen him before… but he reminded me so much of a young man I do know….
At first sight… I felt as if I was seeing him twenty to twenty-five years down the road from now… in a pew across the sanctuary…
A place the young man I know would never come sit… or open a hymnal… profess faith… or read Scripture…
I wondered if it was a prophetic vision…
Was he a sign of encouragement…? a picture of a future I might not live to see…?
Because I’ve been praying for him… to be blessed with the gift of faith and belief…
At the thought of it being reality one day… my heart filled with hope-full joy… tears welled… as I consider His love… through which all things are possible…
Considered the One whose love… cannot help but give us what we ask…
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
