Fireworks… in the distance… boom… one after the other…
On the Fourth of July… they represent the war fought for freedom…
A war won by American revolutionaries more than two hundred years ago…
But Jesus… truly set us free… hanging on a cross… without a sound…
A silent war… an eternal war… a freedom unmatched…
Only found through faith in Him…
Free from sin… enslaved to righteousness…
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
