Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away.

Visited with a new Believer today… one struggling with life…
I prayed for them not to give up… not to let the devil get a foothold…
That they would grow deep roots…
Because as soon as we feel like giving up… we can be sure…
He’s about to show up…
In hindsight… I’ve seen it happen too many times…
In my life… and in the lives of others…
He can’t help but be faith-full…
Even when we are not…
…if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

I remind myself today… to not give up…
As I continue to wait… emotions urging me to throw in the towel….
But I choose to wait… trust… hope… in Him…
For He is faith-full…
Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
