See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

Reminding teens under my teaching… of the vows taken… when each joined the church…
The purpose… to encourage them on their walk of discipleship…
We began today with… the first part of the vow…
To renounce the spiritual forces of wickedness, reject the evil powers of the world, and repent of our sin.
It’s easy to to walk around with an unbelieving heart… when you don’t know what He calls sin… wickedness… evil…
Left on our own… we are masters of self-deception…
Without His revelation… there is no way to renounce… reject… or repent…
In Jesus’s name… we are called to gather… to encourage one another on the road of faith…
This includes seeing to it… none has an unbelieving heart…
That none be hardened… by sin’s deceitfulness…
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

Are you fully informed… by His Spirit…? prepared to renounce…? reject…? and repent…?
Consider asking Him today… Where am I deceiving myself…? when it comes to sin…?
