The Lord… when we make Him our Lamp… turns our darkness into light…
Literally… in Hebrew… Yhwh shines my darkness… (Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon)
As my Lamp… He has the power to shine up my darkness…
So… feeling like a failure at carrying His Light into my world… I rest in His promise to shine up my darkness… and turn it into light…
And pray…
Lord… shine my darkness…
Where I’ve failed to hold my tongue and guard my mouth…
Where I’ve failed to love like You… and took Your place as judge…
Where I’ve wounded rather then healed… discouraged rather then encouraged…
Where I’ve lost the battles of temptation… lived by my flesh instead of Your Spirit…
Where I’ve been more focused on self than others…
Where darkness has ruled instead of Light…
Lord… so grateful… for Your power to shine my darkness… and turn it into light…
