God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked… or anyone for that matter…
“… For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; so turn and live.”

God is sorrow-full… when it comes to the death of the people He loves… all whom He created…
That’s why He sent Jesus to seek and save the lost… which is all of us…
I heard it today on the radio… a message focused on God’s displeasure of death… but His pleasure in sending Jesus to die…
But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.
Isaiah 53:10 NASB
God was not pleased with the suffering… grief… dying… He was pleased with the outcome of the guilt offering…
Jesus… His Son… Himself… God incarnate… willingly came to die so all might have a way to return and live…
He died so we wouldn’t have to…
This is what pleased the Father…
God the Father… He is a God of deliverance… love… and salvation… not condemnation…
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn, but in order that the world might be saved through him. …
John 3:16-17 ESV
It’s Wednesday before Easter… remember why He came… to save… not condemn… to make a way… for life… through His death…
Today… put away judgment… do not take pleasure in the death of the wicked… but enter into His purpose… of spending your life… to save the lost… suffering… so another might live…
Thank Him for finding you…
Praise Him for His great… great… love…
