And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9 ESV
Feeling weary… doubt creeps in… and I wonder… Am I doing any good…?
I pose the question to Him… Is what I do good…? Is it doing any good…?
He answers within minutes of my asking… in unexpected ways…
Still feeling weary… my flesh finds His answer difficult to believe…
But my spirit finds encouragement…
Encouragement in the call to not grow weary… reminded… doing good does take work… and can make one tired…
And the promise… if we persevere… we will reap when the time is right…
The enemy attacks when we are tired… and that is the time to ask Him if the weariness is worth it… Am I doing any good…?
He… will… answer…
He… will… encourage…
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31 ESV
