I’m tired of living…
The words of my 91 year old friend gave me pause… because I know her to be a Believer… one alive in Christ… one blessed with eternal life…
I corrected her… You are tired of dying…
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent we groan, being burdened — not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.
2Corinthians 5:1-4 ESV
The truth is… the moment her body dies… or finishes dying… as it’s in the process of falling apart… she will continue right on living the eternal life He promises for those who put their trust in Him…
She’s just tired of the flesh falling apart… the flesh corrupt by sin… not only her sins… but those of all mankind bringing disease… decay… death… into the world…
Do you find yourself tired of living…?
Well first… come to know Him… Your Redeemer… Savior… the One who died for the sins of the whole world…
Have you trusted Him with your sins…? Does He live in you…?
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who [is loving] me and gave himself for me.

If you already know Him… and find yourself like my friend… feeling… tired of living… remember… it’s the dying you are tired of…
If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.
Philippians 1:22 ESV
There is fruitful labor for Believers to be about… as long as they find themselves living in their dying flesh…
Choose to be about the living… the bearing of fruit in His name… however He calls you… in whatever state of decay you find yourself…
Be tired of the dying… and get on with the living…!
