“Judge not, that you be not judged. …”

When a conversation’s topic changes… because of my presence… I wonder… Do I judge…? or am I being judged…?
Is it a perception of me as judgmental…? or an awkward moment of being salt…?
“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. …”
Matthew 5:13 ESV
As I write the verse above… I glean new meaning…
To be taste-full… in a taste-less culture… makes one salty…
If we also stoop to being taste-less… without scruples… then… are we no longer good for anything…?
