Two days to go… to the day we’ve designated to remember His breaking into the world… through a virgin womb… to make Himself known…
Another day to slow down… and reflect on the reason He came… and pray for others as the day hurries toward us…
God so longs for us to know Him… to be restored in relationship… He humbled Himself… and was born a Babe… laid in a manger… God among us… the Word made flesh…
In His coming… He made the way for us to seek Him… and He wants to be found…
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 ESV
He went to great lengths to make Himself known… and trusts us to seek Him… to desire Him… to find Him…
The Son came to show us the Father’s love… from the provision He received as an infant… all the way to the cross…
In His growing up… through His entire life… He reveals God’s love…
And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.
Luke 2:40 ESV
From infancy to childhood… adolescence to adulthood… Jesus grew… receiving the Father’s favor… and being strengthened… to reveal the Father’s love…
When we seek Him and find Him… we grow in favor and wisdom… grace and mercy… faith and love…
A Nativity Prayer… Day 3…
Praise the Father… for making the Way for us to find Him… tell Him how wonderful it is He wants to be found…
Praise Him for the great lengths He went to so we could find Him…
Pray for yourself and others… to grow as Jesus did… from infant to mature servant of the Father…
Ask Him to fill you and others with a desire to seek Him and know Him…
Pray for revelation of His love to bring about spiritual growth… a strengthening of faith… increased wisdom… a greater love for Him and for others…
As you pray for yourself and those in your world… ask Him to never let the desire for more of Him wane… dwindle… decrease…
Pray for a clearer understanding of who He is… and His ways in the world…
Ask Him to grow all… including you… in the character of Christ…
