As the sun sets… and day darkens… I begin to feel undone…
A full day… but the list goes on… to-do’s go unchecked…
In the bright of day… the newness of morning… strength… hope… energy… filled my heart…
However… the dark beckons me to quit… it presses… as if to say… You’ve run out of time…
But then I remember…
…even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.
Psalm 139:12 ESV
Just because the sun sets… and darkness presses… He is my light… and never… never… does He succumb to the night…
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
