Reminded today… of the weighty matter of teaching His Word…
Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.
James 3:1 ESV
Blessed by one I teach… who called me out… spoke truth in love… because of flippant words…
There was no condemnation… from her… or Him…
But convict He did… and reminded of the weight of words… when filling His call to teach His Word…
My heart sorrowful at causing hurt… but more grateful for the grace in which to grow… and the fruit to bear…
Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.
Matthew 3:8 ESV
Father God… let me not forget the lesson… keep the weight of words… pressing on me…
PS… And even if you don’t teach… your words have more weight than you think… wield them wisely…
