For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Mary never could’ve imagined… the plans… the future… His Father had for her Son… the Babe born in the manger… because there were no rooms to rent in Bethlehem…
Never could she have believed… His unjust treatment… His execution on a cross… could be for His benefit… for hers… for ours…
Not that I’m Mary… or my children any where close to being Jesus… but my heart resonates with hers… as I think about mine…
If you’re a mom… yours might too…
Never could we imagine… the struggles some of our kids face… (albeit of their own making at times…) could be used for their good…
Our hearts… as mom’s… are burdened… heavy… watching our children wander… making choices which lead them farther away…
But… He says… I know the plans I have for them… plans for a future… and hope…
In His words I see the purpose of the plans… Then they will call upon Me… They will seek Me… find Me… when they seek with all their heart…
All the struggles… the heartaches… part of His plan… for His purpose…
He alone works all things for good… in the lives of those who love Him… and are called according to His purpose…
So today… I hold on to the purpose of His plans… as a mom’s revelation… to bring our children to the point of crying out in need… recognizing no other way… gives them a future… and a hope…
Only Him…
Father God… fulfill Your purpose… in my children… just as You did in Your Son…
