transformed…

She made me take a personality test today… I told her I’d already taken the test… knew what I was… (at least thirty years ago…) but she said… Let’s see if it’s changed…

So off we went on the list of questions… Ugh… I don’t like thinking about myself… evaluating whether I’m adaptable… or structured… sensitive… or assertive… It just depends on the situation…

When we finished… Yes… my test had changed by one character trait…

The personality test called my type an Adventurer… 

Definitely not something I would label myself…

She began to read the description… and yes… I had to agree I did do some of the things she read… but not with comfort… and I haven’t always… it’s just not my natural bent…

I finally said… That’s not me… that’s God in me…

Now God… Holy Spirit… He’s the Adventurer…!

And Yes… His Word tells us we are transformed by Him… when we no longer conform to the world… or to our own flesh…

I think I saw a glimpse of it today… Him in me… through the questions on a personality test…

Interesting… but it shouldn’t be a surprise… His Word says it is so… you will be transformed into His image…

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
