Preparing… I did some today… some new… some almost done… some ongoing for years…

The definition reminds… the most important part of preparing… is a proper state of mind…

The son preparing for something new… called today… as he talked about his preparations… I reminded him to set his mind in a proper state first…

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men…

I think about my own steps of preparation today… some came easily… some included clearing out clutter I didn’t plan to clear out… some included settling down… staying under… when all I wanted to do was walk away…

It all felt very random… the way the day went in its various stages of preparing…

But I am reminded… apart from Him… I can do nothing… and… Oh… how I would rather be random… than cut off from Him…

He is the Preparer… who prepares us… for all He created us for…

Never forget… you are His… not yours… allow Him to prepare you for all you do…

And set your mind… on serving Him…
