So… in the study with sisters yesterday… the subject was truth… as in… Love rejoices with the truth…
Recognizing Truth is a person… Jesus… we spent time in a prayer exercise… considering what He would say to us… what truth we needed to hear…
He spoke quickly to my heart… in my spirit… by His Spirit…
I win…
I continued to ask silently in prayer… What truth do I need to hear…?
And again the phrase would come to mind… I win…
You see… He wins…!
This may not mean much to you… but as I consider me… where I am… what He’s been calling me to do… it turns everything around…
For several years now… He’s been calling me to put down… lay aside… my cynical attitude…
I’m also a pessimist… and naturally tend to look on the dark side of things… see loss… instead of victory… in the lives of those I love who are struggling or lost…
The truth of His victory… reminds me… darkness will not overcome…
It will not overcome His promises… His love… His plan… His purpose…
He wins…!
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.

No matter how dark or discouraging it may look in the moment… remember this truth… HE WINS… and see if that brings a little light into your life…
Because for those in Christ… when He wins… we win too…!
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
