With the coming home… came a lot of throwing out… to make room for the stuff coming in…
And the thought of someone willing to take the garbage far away… for it never to return… is just too wonderful…
All you have to do is put it our there… and yes in the city you pay for it through taxes… and outside the city you pay someone private… but still… that there’s someone willing… able… to deal with all the trash I can’t… it’s just a relief…
It makes me think of Jesus…
He’s the One who takes all our soul trash away… never to be seen again…
…as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12 ESV
All we have to do is trust Him to be who He says He is… that He did what He did…
All He asks… is that we put it out there for Him… come into agreement with Him about sin… and confess it… with a repentant heart…
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

This is the work of taking out the soul-trash…
And in our putting it out there… He takes it away…
He deals with it… because we can’t…
He made the Way to dispose of it… because He loves us…
Garbage day… almost as good as a clean house…
