Yesterday was my mom’s birthday… she would’ve been 95 years old if I hadn’t lost her when she was 71…
I noted her birthday yesterday… asked Him to tell her I missed her and loved her… but it didn’t really hit me until today…
Not until I received some hugs… some deep hugs from women in Bible study…
Ladies older than me… perhaps on the cusp of being old enough to be my mom…
But in their embrace… I thought of her… missed her… and recognized the grace of His provision… even when we think what we miss has been lost…
“…And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundred fold and will inherit eternal life. …” –Jesus

I didn’t leave her… but He’s given multi-fold… wonderful women… to hug… love… and remind…
