I learned something exciting today… how to do better… at what I do at the shop…
It was all surprisingly exciting… to learn about ways to actually do better… in areas of struggle…
Learning that just maybe… I could do in a way which eliminates problems…
Hope is what I felt…
And who doesn’t want to do better…? in whatever they do…?
So I think that’s what I love about Him and His Word…
His love… makes me want to be better… His Word shows me the way…
There’s a line in a movie… where the main character compliments the woman he’s wooing… by saying… You make me want to be a better man…
That’s what God’s love does for me… He makes me want to be a better woman… to honor His great love for me…
His Word is what shows me… reveals to me… what I need to know… to do better…
And by the power of His Holy Spirit… He is at work… to make me better… through prayer… His Word… and obedience to it…
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Proverbs 3:6 ESV
Straight paths… better than the roundabout wandering way… better than crooked paths… and stumbling in the rough…
Better… it’s what I desire to be for Him… it’s what He does for me… it’s where I find delight… and hope…
