fuel for faith…

Two days ago… we planted these in the ground… hard… dry… beans…

Today… just two days later… mind you…

…a green bean sprout…

In the seed… in the sprout… I see… fuel for faith…

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:1 NIV84

Without faith… no one would ever plant a seed… it looks dead… hard… with as much potential as a rock…

But by faith it’s planted… watered… and then… voila… something green and living bursts forth…

We can’t make it grow… only God does that…

No matter how hard we will… visualize… force… coerce… we cannot make one thing grow…

Only God…

The same is true for our spiritual growth… our belief in Christ…

Only when we are sure of His Word… will we plant it in our hearts… water it with prayers of faith… and the next thing you know something grows…

Sunday we planted close to 80 seeds… today one sprouted… over the next several days… weeks… don’t be surprised… if more pictures of fuel for faith are added…

He is faithful… and in His creation… He reveals Himself… His power… His divinity… over and over…

His presence… care… love… evidenced in the growth…

All you need are eyes to see…

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse…
