Waking before dawn… I’m drawn out by His stars… the ones He knows by name… shining brightly in the dark sky…
His steadfast love revealed in their creation… setting them to rule over the night… giving a glimpse of His greatness…
As the sun dawns… the stars appear to be gone… the sky lightening to blue…
But I know they are still there… set in the heavens… just like His steadfast love…
There may be times the circumstances in life obscure His love… at least from your sight…
Never forget… His steadfast love endures forever… always… in everything…
What He’s created… what He allows… behind it all is His love…
Father God… let me not forget Your steadfast ever-present love for me…
