The reading through of the gospels brings me to His betrayal… arrest… abuse… and unjust trial…
Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. The chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people.
–Luke 22:1-2 NASB
With Passover approaching… you think the chief priests would be focused on worship… and duty… but NO… they were trying to figure out how to kill Jesus…
Ironically… they were preparing to kill the Lamb of God… the ultimate Passover Lamb…
And I see the whole big mess the religious leaders had made of God’s way… and how He takes this horrible mess… and makes it beautiful…
I think of the messes I see in the lives of loved ones… in my own life… and pray…
God… You take such messes and make them beautiful… Make beauty out of our messes…
Do you have a mess in your life…? living in the aftermath of a mess…? one of your own making…? or perhaps the fallout from a loved one’s mess…?
Bring it to Him…
Trust Him…
He makes beauty out of the most horrific messes…
