The Journey Readings: Week 57… and the wonder of His Word…

Today… I find myself wondering… over the wonder of His Word…

Sounds redundant… I know…

But the Creator of the Universe… Who made all things seen and unseen… graciously speaks softly through creation… sings over us… with stars… and sunbeams… rejoicing at what will be…

As if that isn’t enough… to get our attention… He blessed us with His Word…

Scripture…

All Scripture is breathed out by God…

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV

A tangible representation of who He is…

The conversation He began with us…

And then… He made it all flesh… in the wonder of His Son…

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,

and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father,

full of grace and truth.

John 1:14 ESV

A wonder beyond wonder…

A love that stoops… to glorify the Father… redeeming creation… and rebellious creatures…

A Word that makes all things new… by its reading… meditating… consuming…

Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.

Your faithfulness endures to all generations;

you have established the earth, and it stands fast.

By your appointment they stand this day,

for all things are your servants.

If your law had not been my delight,

I would have perished in my affliction.

I will never forget your precepts,

for by them you have given me life.

Psalm 119:89-93 ESV
